Growing up in Ukraine, I’ve seen the sea very rarely during my childhood. But I was always fascinated and attracted by the sea and I always knew I have to live next to the big blue.
After moving to Fuerteventura I fell in love with water activities like surfing, wind/kite surfing, snorkeling, and simply enjoying the ocean in every aspect. What I quickly realized I wanted to combine my passion with work, which led me to discovering freediving. For me freediving is the purest form of connection with the ocean. Since then I’ve spent most of my time underwater. Teaching freediving became more than just a job. I love to share my experience and knowledge while inspiring people to discover and enjoy underwater world. The feeling of watching the progress of my students is priceless!
And when I’m not underwater you can find me on land doing yoga and taking photos! Yoga and meditation not only helps me to find some peace of mind, stay flexible physically and mentally, but also to find balance.
Photography for me is where I can embrace my creativity, by capturing the beauty of nature, people’s emotions and stories. But my favorite is underwater photography.
